VIDEO TO MP3 GUIDE
Choose an MP4, MOV, WebM, or M4V file you are allowed to use, select MP3, M4A, or WAV, then download the audio. Conversion runs in your browser; this tool does not download from video links.
MP4 files with H.264 video and AAC audio are usually the most compatible. Codec support and file size can affect whether a browser can convert a file.
A file extension alone does not guarantee browser support. Try a short standard MP4, confirm the video plays in your browser, or export a compatibility-focused MP4 from the original editor.
Yes. Convert supported video files without creating an account or hitting a usage limit.
Conversion runs in your browser whenever possible, and BaroTool does not store the original file or filename.
Some video and audio codecs are not supported by every browser. Try a standard MP4 file or a shorter clip first.
BEFORE EXTRACTING AUDIO
Choose an MP4, MOV, WebM, or M4V file and save its audio as MP3, M4A, or WAV. MP3 is a practical balance of size and compatibility, while uncompressed WAV can be much larger.
A matching file extension does not guarantee a compatible internal audio or video codec. If preview or conversion fails, try exporting an MP4 with H.264/AAC or a shorter file. You can select files up to 500MB.
The first use may need an internet connection to load the browser conversion engine. Once ready, your original video is read in the browser and the result downloads to your device.
No. This tool only processes a video file you select. It does not download or convert links from video websites.
Choose MP3 for broad compatibility, or M4A for an efficient AAC-based audio file.
WAV is uncompressed audio, so it can be larger than MP3 or M4A.
